New Year, New Beginnings

Well, its a new year and another day... as the saying goes, "same s***, different day"... but yes, we are finally in 2007... getting older, and hopefully getting wiser.. i'm not, but i hope you guys are :-)

Anyways, i am sitting here, munching on some delicious chocolate cake and icecream (pooh, dont talk about health stuff now...) and just thinking about stuff.. i have some good news to report this year :-

• i am pregnant - 4 months now (hehe see, i CAN keep a secret) and no, we dont know if its a boy or girl.. i personally dont mind either as long as the baby is happy and healthy.. but knowing Nisal and me, its probably going to be a very laid-back little kid... just food and sleep being its only requirements..


• i started working at Lanka Woman, which is a women's magazine here in the island.. i started out being the movie reviewer/columnist but now i think (i say think because i truly do not) i am going to become the assistant editor.. fingers crossed, anyways... but this is addition to my writing duties...


• we are soon going to have a house for ourselves.. yay... hopefully with a garden..


• work at Ranliya is going good, things are finally shaping around and thats great news for everyone on board

So this year is starting off pretty smoothly..
