Best Sunday Ever...

Not trying to brag or anything, but truly this Sunday has gotta be in my top-10 Sundays in a long time... Nisal and I met up with Matheesha, an old friend from my highschool and Sabita and Sanjay... Sabita and I knew each other since we were in 2nd grade and Sanjay is Sabita's younger brother.. anyways, we all went out for lunch at Trans Asia, at the Chinese restaurant.. now thats a nice place for lunch.. we had so much food there, but food is always good, u know that :)

We then went to try out a new DVD shop which sells DVDs for $1.60 - which is a pretty decent bargain considering these are the new releases.. hehe so i bought about 11 - Hollywoodland, The Prestige, Happy Feet, and others.. hehe the other shop we usually buy from is $3.00 so its quite good.. they have box sets of different series but unfortunately for me, no Law and Order.. grrrrrr...

then we got back and played Settlers of Catan.. that seriously is one of the best games of all time.. haha i cant explain it but its a good twist on Monopoly.. Nisal is always good for milkshakes and he made his famous Coffee Icecream shakes which was just divine and kept us going for about 5 hours.. granted we were playing 3 games (Nisal won once, whereas Sanjay won twice - but it is his game!!) but still, we didnt realise the time flying by...

Then Matt had to go, then the rest of us decided to hang out and chill, and Nisal and I decided to cook up dinner.. we made Spinich soup (Popeye the Sailor man!) with cheese, roast chicken and steamed veggies.. YUM! haha totally healthy and baby would totally approve :)

hehe everyone just left and i just want to say - THANKS YOU GUYS FOR MAKING OUR DAY... we definitely need to do this again sometime... haha now when i read this, you MAY think how pathetic i am for saying that, but truly it was a fun evening, and i am so happy...

The thing that makes me more happy though is that Nisal really likes my friends.. i mean, he lived all his life in the UK and when he decided to come and live here, he didnt have many friends or anything and now we are together and he really does like my friends.. and truly he makes me proud to be his wife.. just watching him today, cracking jokes and having a good time.. it was like he's known these people for so much longer than he has.. and the way he was running around, making the chicken and cooking... i just love him so much more now than i think i did when we got married.. honestly.. i am truly happy today...
